1. I am scared of small spiders but have no problem with tarantulas.
2. I love reading books, especially sci-fi, fantasy and crime

Hello Caroline, and congratulations on receiving the Shine On Award – well deserved!!! You have a great blog and it’s always a pleasure to read your thoughts and see what kinds of recipes you’ve been trying 🙂
Thank you very very much for awarding my blog. I’ll let you know when I’ve published the award post (please bear with me though: I’ve got quite a lot to do at the moment, but I’ll do it as soon as I can).
Many thanks again! Have a lovely day 🙂

Thanks Tarja 😀 I enjoyed reading your facts, especially since you are a horse fan – so am I 🙂 Winter is jut ending here in New Zealand and I can’t wait for summer. Long walks on the beach, hiking in the bush, here we come. Cx

Hi Caroline, I didn’t realise you love horses too! You must have been riding in some amazing places over there. We’re lucky to ride on Dartmoor (a national park) every week – even though the weather is very wet at times! This summer’s been good though, but I’m sure we’ll have to dig out our water-proofs soon… Oh well, it’s still great riding there. I hope you enjoy your summer and get to ride lots!
Tarja x
PS Do you have your own horse?

I absolutely love horses and yes there are some pretty extraordinary places to ride here (I went riding in the mountains which were one of the settings for Lord of the rings – beautiful). I have only lived in NZ for nearly two years and have yet to find a regular place to go to. I grew up on a stud farm and had my own horse but have not had my own horse for 10 years, missing it. Maybe one day again 🙂 Dartmoor sounds amazing – rolling hills and green grass I imagine! And every week – that’s awesome 🙂 I will hope for a long summer for us and a mild and short winter for you. Cx

Congrats, and thank you so much for the nomination! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, but I’ve been on vacation. I will say, that I’m touched that you nominated me for this. It also cracks me up that you’re afraid of small spiders, but are okay with tarantulas – how funny! Thanks again! Celeste 🙂

naturally like your web-site however you have to take a look at the spelling
on several of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it
very troublesome to inform the truth on the other hand
I will surely come again again.
